Wengfu (under Wengfu Group, a Sinochem subsidiary) is China's largest single-site integrated phosphate complex and one of the largest globally. The integrated chain runs from phosphate-rock mining (Guizhou hosts the second-largest phosphate-rock reserves in China after Yunnan) through beneficiation, phosphoric acid (HS 280920), wet-process and thermal-process routes to DAP (HS 310530), MAP (HS 310540), sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP, HS 283531), and yellow phosphorus (HS 280470). Together with the adjacent Guizhou Kailin Group complex and Yuntianhua's Guizhou operations, the Wengfu cluster anchors the Guizhou phosphate-industry value chain that supplies Chinese and global fertiliser, detergent, and electronic-grade phosphate markets. Two operator-distinct points. First, the integrated mine-to-fertiliser model gives Wengfu raw-material cost advantages roughly 20 to 30% below merchant-phosphate-rock-fed competitors; this is the structural moat that has kept Guizhou phosphate competitive even as Beijing's seasonal export-quota system tightens. Second, Wengfu has been investing in iron-phosphate (LFP cathode) production since 2021; the LFP battery boom has redirected Chinese phosphate-rock allocation toward the lithium-iron-phosphate cathode chain, which is reshaping fertiliser export availability.
